I’ve a lot to say about this new (relatively) blessing the web has to offer to the addicts like me. It sure is an addiction. You find long lost friends from the school who bring back loads of memories of your dear HHS and college and others too (all those early teen-aged crushes of yours :-P). But at times you get those annoying WANNA FRNADSHP messages from the weirdos of Karachi saying:

“Hi Iqra. I like ur name very very much. So wanna make new frands to me? I am a model and study at XYZ college”

or:

“Hi. Like ur profile and ur pix. Wanna frandship?

GOD!!!
Annoyance
Utter annoyance

I hate such FRANDSHIP scraps. Just read the spellings and rotten vocab of these wanna-bees and my blood pressure rises to dangerously high levels.

But all in all, orkut is fun. It’s a good tool to find and expand the circle of friends and enemies at the same time. :-)

But orkut often makes me wonder that whatever happened to good old days of forwarding mails and add on requests we used to get on our MSN?

On a serious note, I’m once again addicted to IRON MAIDEN these days: religiously listening to their k**k a** killer riffs and extremely superb lyrics.
