There’re things you don’t want any one to know. There’re things you don’t want yourself to know. The former are secrets, I agree, what about the latter? Super secrets? May be. Ain’t sure.
I believe the latter are our mere shielding from disillusionment. There’re very few things which are more painful than the pain we suffer during an atrocious process of disillusionment. It almost kills us and ruthlessly deprive us of all those fantasies and illusions upon which we’ve built our dreamland and have had been counting for so long.
This again is just another way of doing self-betrayal. When we know that we’re going to loose and when we know that THAT is just not in our fate and when we know that life has pitifully decided to act against us: WE BRING OURSELVES TO MORE AND MERE DEVASTATION BY INDULGING US IN A PROCESS OF HALLUCINATION AND FRIVOLOUS ILLUSIONS.
At a particular time, it looks the best thing we can do. Obviously when one has no choices he / she returns to the ever-there-choice: hiding from the goddamned bitter reality of the harsh life. But later, in the long run we come to know how damn wrong we’ve been then and what a colossal damage has been done to us and ourselves by ourselves by opting for the stupidest action: hallucination.
